I'm not so surprised the military are picking up on sims. What better way to train your boys other than throwing them into battle? And what better way to get them not killed than having the battle be nothing but pixels?

I still like that old idea of having countries at war just playing a big online game against each other. Whoever wins the game wins the war, and no-one has to die. Of course, it'd have to be a manly fighting game; can you imagine losing your country over Tetris?
