Go to Amazon.com and look up Frank Spellman/Nancy Whiting, and a bunch of my titles should pop up. However, NO ONE will want to read them. They're technical books on safety engineering, environmental science and technology, water and wastewater treatment, and OSHA compliance.

You never know, I might need a book on wastewater treatment if we have another flood; the local water board doesn't seem to want to do anything about it!

You could make a lot of money on the side by leveraging your research into non-fiction magazine markets--think trade publications. If you have the research, it's easy pickings and who knows, you might end up a regular, or with a column.

Yeah, columns are a fantastic way to get a regular income for a writer. It's something much easier to do than writing 250+ pages for a book, too :P
