Why not go with "Corn King/God/whatever" rather than "Corn Man"?

I like "Sacrifice to the Corn-Man". Note I left off the "A". Of course this is said without having read the story. But it seems to be the most powerful title out of the choices you offered.
Edited due to being too quick with the trigger-finger on the submit button and seeing a typo at the last, all-too-late, second.

I like Blighted Heart, but couldn't you combine a few of the titles?"Sacrifice of the Blighted Heart"
I think the above title would make me do a double take and read the synopsis on the back cover and possibly the first few pages.
Hope this helps out some.

I didn't read the 13 lines, but I really like the sound of 'The Corn-Man's Heart' myself.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. It's now officially "Sacrifice to the Corn-Man", at least until I change my mind. And, Skynrd, thanks a lot for the offer, but I've sent out the story already.

I went with "Blighted Heart", and it's been at IGMS since last November. Thanks for inquiring
