I got an acceptance from Warrior Wisewoman 4, edited by Roby James, for my story, "Deadly Dance"
This is my first (real) sale. After two significant disappointments recently, this is a big Woohoo! for me.
"Deadly Dance" is told from an alien pov and there are no humans in the story. I sent this to a small crit group because it contains adult themes, the MC is a courtesan. But to those who did read it, thank you very much for your input.
BTW they acknowledge the difficulties Norilana books is having but they've discussed the delays with full confidence that the project will move forward. As thay've been up front about it form the beginning, I'm willing to wait.
