Axeminster's post in the Markets forum has given me an idea. I'm a little short on reviews for my books. It seems that most people who buy don't bother to review, and I can understand that, I'm guilty of it myself.

In order to rectify this, I'm offering a free book in Epub or Mobi(kindle) format, of your choice, to the first ten people to reply to this post and request one, on the single condition that, once you've read it, you leave an honest review at Amazon and Smashwords (if possible).

You'll need to email me as well so I can attach the book by return. If you don't have an e-reader you can get free readers for PC and Mac. I have links to most of them on my blog, accessible through my website at: PDBlake.com

You can see, and select from, what books are on offer at Amazon.

Amazon UK

Amazon US

They're also at Smashwords and most of the outlets they push to.

ETA: Amazon don't really give much of a hint as to how much book you're getting so:

Tales From Under the Bridge is approx 53k, the Black Cat Cleaning Co. around 40k and the rest are all full novels at about 120-130k each.

With a topic like that, who can say no to checking out this post?

And then when you make it easy and painless, who can say no to good reading?

I have an e-reader on my computer so that won't be a problem. You'll probably only get a Amazon review if that's all right...I haven't explored Smashworlds yet.

Thanks!

I've seen people write, as part of their book description, the page count.

Oh, and if you click on that link to see an example - click on YES under Dustin Adams' review. You know, because his reviews are always so super helpful... [Smile]

Ok, you can have a free one this time:)

I never thought of doing something so simple for the word count [Roll Eyes] Next time [Big Grin]

I like the reviews. I was quite taken by the one for Misto Gourmet Olive Oil Sprayer, Brushed Aluminum [Big Grin]

PD, sorry I didn't respond to you with my e-mail. I don't have your e-mail address, so if it's not too much of an inconvenience for you to send it to me @ shaylanne1@gmail.com?

Let me know...

Epub would be best...I looked at the e-mail icon, but for some reason, while I can see everyone elses, I can't see yours [Frown]

If it's reassuring I can still see your profile... [Smile]

Thanks!

Yep, noticed that too. Must be some odd setting somewhere. Still, it's there in my profile [Smile]

I'll get that off to you tonight.

Free is a good deal, and I'll pass it on to my daughter. Maybe the first Ironarm novel would be best. Thanks, P.D.

You're welcome, just drop me an email so I can attach it by return.

I presume you want mobi for your daughter's new kindle?
