Yea, vote has miniscule impact in states that already have huge majority such as Texas... or on fence states like illinois/michigan anyone's vote has larger stake @@

I voted, and they weren't giving out stickers! New York can be such a cheapskate city. I was going to put it on my two-year-old before we left, and see if anyone cried "Voter fraud!"

I was working on my NaNovel, then my husband came home, stayed with the kids so I could go vote, then came back to write more. Almost 5500 words... but I admit to be watching the election returns. Guess I'll be giving up soon and going to bed (since people were still voting at 11:15pm in Ohio, and there are 1.7 million absentee ballots still to be counted in Florida, I guess staying up doesn't make sense).

Can I write a story inspired by this election? A few ideas have come to mind...mostly having to do with 1984 set in 2084...Is it ok to write a story like that anymore or is that just been done too many times or become too unpopular?
