Does anyone know how to format a chapter-by-chapter outline for a novel?

Right now, I'm doing the following:

Chapter 1: POINT OF VIEW CHARACTER IN ALL CAPS does some things that I describe in three to five sentences as per the guideines. I single-space here but I will double-space between chapters.

Christine, although I think the way you're doing the outline is just as good, I sent you an e-mail with some info.
