I was wrote a story about somethings and then when some presure come into my life I had to put it aside and now that I am back all i want to do is write about how to argue my point of morality instead of a story. What are some ways to try to help me work myself back into the story telling mode instead of the argumentive mode? thanks

Get it out. Get it all out. Write absolutely everything you could possibly want to say on the subject.

Then start on your story.

I agree with Jeraliey. Best way. But it must be a real effort. It must be as traumatic as possible. Think of it like taking a purgative. It is only worth it if it all comes out.

What they said, and with the suggestion of turning the argument into its own story. Have two characters arguing the two different sides of the issue(s). I worked with a guy once who drove his wife crazy because he and his two sons would argue vehemently at the dinner table over one topic or another, then when they had reached a certain point in the argument, they would switch sides and debate it from the other's point of view. It could help you get it out of your system and clarify your thinking to write one character arguing for, and another against.
