Sorry, this must be stupid question, but as I'm new here, here it is:
What exactly are Flash Challenges? I'd like to participate in one, but I have no idea what they are or how to participate. Could someone help me on this?

Flash challenges are where you have an hour and a half to write a quick "story" based on the trigger. Besides being loads of fun, it can be surprising how much you learn about your own writing.

Flash fiction is generally considered stories under 1000 words. A trigger is a word or picture which helps you think of a story. If you go to the Fragments and Feedback forum, Birthright came out of the flash challenge trigger "dichotomy." The Wink came from the trigger word "transom".
