I can't seem to find any forum guidelines for posting quotes. Something mommiller said in her thread on F & F reminded me of a quote I found on another site, and I wanted to post it, but I wasn't sure if protocol allowed such indulgences. Any thoughts?

Wha?

I said something nearly quotable? That's almost scary, but I do read Nancy Kress's books on writing.

If you attribute properly and keep it inside of "Fair Use", you'll probably be okay.

Yes, please attribute quotes.

And if you quote no more than 13 lines, we would appreciate it.

If what you want to quote is longer than that, a link to the material (if it's on the internet), or a citation, so we can look it up, would be best.
