Congratulations on your nomination, JeanneT. And good luck. I know some of the other nominees in your category, and you have a tough lot, but to be numbered among them is an honor. As it is for me.

No offense taken, kings_falcon. I was just giving you a hard time.
IB, it is a tough list. I don't have the least expectation of winning. Just being on the list is an honor, and I'm thrilled with that. Good luck to you too! And to everyone on it this year.
Please, do go vote for whoever you think is best on the various lists.
Edit: For those who are following this, you can check the running results. I am currently tied for 9th place--not shabby considering the field.
To vote you have to give your name and email address to prevent spamming, etc. by the way.

Well, I actually *might* be at a slightly better standing since the story was nominated twice somehow. The rules say that at the end they will combine the votes. And I am pleased at that standing, believe me. Nominated twice and getting at least some votes makes me quite pleased with myself.
You, I see, are doing extremely well at #5 in the artist category. Congratulations!

I wanted to drop in to thank everyone who voted in the poll.
I know I am quite pleased with my short story ending up #8 in the sff short stories which is much better than I expected. And congratulations to IB at #6 in artist!
Of course, the vote isn't final yet. These are still preliminary results. But it's been fun and satisfying.
So thanks again.

Thanks JeanneT. Congratulations on you settling into the top ten at #8! I settled into the top ten at #6, but--as you say--it was a heck of a ride!
And a big THANK YOU to everyone who voted for me.
