I wrote a flash story this weekend that seems more suited to be a children's story than a story for a publication geared toward adults.

I haven't the slightest idea what markets to send it to. Any ideas?

Has anyone here had experience submitting children's stories? Are there any significant ways that submitting such stories is different than regular speculative fiction stories? Is it harder or easier to get into that market than spec fic markets?

You can do a search on Duotrope using a keyword "children" It gave me 18 markets with about half at pro-rates.
