This may sound fourth gradish, because frankly it is. The F&F section helps me greatly when I post something that I have written, but it doesn't help me write anything. I know the term "Writing buddy" sounds...umm...stupid(?), but I didn't know if anyone was interested.
I know most of you are very busy, as writing is time consuming, so I don't expect to positive a response. Fortunately, I only need one.
What I would be thinking would be someone who would want to give each other dead lines for work, invent assignments for the other, and constantly annoy/harrass them if they, or I, don't follow through.
I'm just throwing this out there. I could use the help, and I would be of as much help as possible.

I'll help keep you in line. It will also help if you commit to the thirteen line challenge every week.

Dude, fourth grade or not, writing buddies are indispensable! I've got three, actually. I guess I need that much nagging.

Must not be fourth grade after all. Lol. I'm just dying where I am now! Trying to write every day is so hard when there are no writers to talk to. Ty Bent Tree! I'll get an email to you this weekend. (Hopefully)

As your writing buddy, I would have to encourage you to get the email sent earlier than the weekend.

Bent Tree, get him to do the 13 line challenge. We need people of all abilities to do it--as it is meant to be a learning tool and not just a competition.
Although I guess winning is nice--not that I have ever done that!
A friend and I have promised to send each other something every week -- then we get a beer and pizza or something in 6 months.
And winning the internet (as my daughter put it)is awesome! -- and anyone can do it, Justin. Check out the critiques of my story from a month ago (Baptism . . .) No pain, no gain.

I've been trying to find some of these for years! I get several during NaNoWriMo, because we're all trying to do it, and then they all just vanish until next November.
While you always hear "you should write for your own sake" I have issues with "I know how the story goes in my head, I want someone else to be enjoying it. There's no point in telling myself a story I already know."

I KNOW! My story seems really cool to me, all of them do. It's like playing a board game by yourself. Boardwalk and Parkplace are awesome to own, but if you're the only one going around the board...
