I thought you all might enjoy this song.

That was a wonderful song. I had goosebumps listening to it. I went to Janis Ian's site and got the studio version, too, although I like the original slightly better. It's on my playlist now.

Robert, filksinging is like folksinging for sci-fi fans. Like fanfics but with song.

"Filksinging" is a typo that caught on and stuck.

I'm familiar with the notion, but I've never actually heard any.

I tried to figure out all of the references but I missed a few and caught one or two during the third time I listened to it.
