It's that time of the week again, time for the kick in the pants. The idea is that having somewhere to report progress will spur you on to make some. So I'm posing the question to all of us here. Did you write this week? As we have been reminded in the past, writing for the purposes of this thread can mean just about anything you want. You did some editing? Report it here. Outlining, pre-writing or any other kind of prep work? Sure, that counts too. And, of course, writing new work always counts.

Still being in the grip of NaNoWriMo, of course I wrote. [Smile] In the last week, I put in 26,878 words, which brings Still They Watch, my NaNo novel, to a total of 47,138. I think I'm about halfway done, but it's always so hard to tell. I went to my first ever write-in this past week, and going again tonight, as I had so much fun with it. [Smile]

I made some notes on a couple of upcoming projects as well, and did a few blog posts.

I think that's about it.

How about you? Did you write?

-Julie

Yes, I did.

Finally finished the second draft of BLOOD IS THICKER. Continued work on the second draft of THE BARD'S GIFT (now about 40% complete).

Also, two blog posts.

Over 37,000 words this week. NaNo is just about over for me. Just a denouement to go on my novel and then it's rewrites.

Yup, 2,000 words over the weekend. But, I may have now portrayed one of my protagonists as slightly schizophrenic. Also posted an entry on my blog HERE

Another dead week...I swear I've got an idea for a new story, but I just haven't started writing it yet...

Robert, why not try writing 'about' the story, that may get the creative juices flowing.

I did find time---five hundred words, just finished a couple of minutes ago. I don't expect this story to be terribly long---the problem with a lot of my recent output---but if I can keep up the pace I should be able to finish this draft in a week or so.

Wrote something around 1,000 to 3,000 words. Mostly working on technique and story writing in general. Enjoying the book "Beginnings, Middles, and ends" and working through all of the assignments. Super productive week!
