Hola!

Though a novice, I've been writing forever and though the crates of my work form a nice obstacle course in my closet, I recently realized that if I publish something, I'll get paid, and if I get paid, my evil literary vice turns into a virtue, right?

So here we are!

I'm hoping to polish and refine my skills and have a smashing good time in the process.

I'm posting the first 13 lines of a novel I'm writing right now, it's not sci-fi or fantasy, so you can skip it if you want. LOL- but it's a gripping read for about 30 seconds. Unless you hate it, then it's probably not.

I look forward to reading your posts; I've read some and am impressed by the level of analysis in the critiques, and the fun atmosphere.

Okay, enough, I'm gonna get m'self started!

Muah,

Bree

It's not right that someone has to wait more than a day for someone to say this, so I'm saying it right now:

Welcome to Hatrack!

Hehe, kinda moot, since you've been posting a lot already, but now you've been officially welcomed (kinda - I'm not an admin or anything, so it's not 'official' official, but you know what I mean).

Oh, and about the crates of work in your closet, I would be the same, except that I type all of mine, so it's all on a USB flash drive. Thankfully, text doesn't take much memory.

Again, welcome to Hatrack!
