So I may or may not have mentioned before that I'm LDS, and despite being quite a bit older than 19, I've decided to go on a mission. They're sending me to Boise, Spanish speaking. I leave March 4.
I know a decent number of you are LDS - anyone here gone on a mission? How possible is it to find time to write?

I'm no expert, but I imagine it's probably a good therapy for dealing with a really tough lifestyle change, and being disconnected from friends and family. So, I'd think it might be encouraged, or at least permitted.
