Does anybody remember the DARE anti-drug program?

In the nineties they gave pencils to all public schools with 'Don't do drugs.' written on them.

They hoped seeing this subliminal message all the time would reinforce the idea that drugs are bad.

Well, after about a week of sharpening that pencil it said 'do drugs.'. A new subliminal message was evident.

It must have worked, every kid in high school lit one up.
