Greetings. My name is Rei Rurouni. I am a wanderer. I hire myself out to the locals for odd jobs to make money, eat, and have shelter.
I have the ability to conjure and control demons and practice the art of magic. Not much is known about my past, as I am somewhat reclusive, but I did spend time in the war. During this time, I met and befriended a shapeshifter named Luciac. We don't see each other much anymore, but we have much respect for each other and their abilities.
One day, I took it upon myself to take in an orphaned mage and teach her the ways of magic.

Hinotama, the orphan I took under my wing, had just killed her family and destroyed her home using some kind of fire magic I had not seen before. I was in her town when it happened and, seeing the flames, I rushed towards her home. Sensing the tremendous energy she was releasing, I knew there was something special about this girl and, with the right training, she could become more powerful than any mage I've known. So I took it upon myself to teach her to harness her ability.
