First of all, your review on Serenity was, for lack of a better term 'cromtrulescent!' as Will Farrel imitating James Lipton once said.
On to my question. Have you viewed the movie Primer? And if so, what were your thoughts on it? I loved it, but I have to admit I didn't completely understand it the first time I watched it.
Just wondering. Your review of Serenity (which was again, cromtrulescent) made me think of my thoughts on Primer. If you have time, I'd love to hear what you thought of Primer, that is if you've been able to watch it at some point.

I loved primer too for some reason - the first time I saw it I was with friends whom had seen it so they kinda explained it which was stupid - however I saw it again a couple times and got my own interpretation and I just plain old loved it.

Really? I liked it a lot. It was hard for me to follow the first time, but that's me. Shane Carruth made it using about 8,000 from what I understand.
It's really cool. You should check it out sometime. It's no Serenity, but it's very enjoyable.

Primer was a fantastic movie. Yes, it was made extremely inexpensively. It was also filmed, and "took place" near where I live
Very odd movie, with lots of well thought out underlying details to pick up on later. I'd say its one of the few movies that I've still found new things in after several viewings.
