I got accepted to the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown! You don't understand how relieved I feel. Well, maybe you do, but man... It's great- I'm set, all I have to do is maintain my grades. What's better, is I also got a full Navy ROTC scholarship. So I'm going to Georgetown almost for free! Yes! [Big Grin] [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

Wow. Now that is an achievement, dude, congratulations. What the hell kind of grades and test scores did you need to get into Georgetown?

(This is on the par of a Harvard acceptance, right? If it isn't, consider my congratulations revoked.)

I dunno. Is it on a par with Harvard?

My SAT's are 770 verbal and 660 math, for a combined 1430.

My grades are pretty good. I've gotten mostly A's, some B+'s, and some B's, but nothing lower that I can remember in high school.

I think my activies also helped. I'm on the swim team, the band for the musical play, and a member of the Civil Air Patrol, the auxillary of the Air Force.

I think the fact that I rarely get more than 7 hours of sleep also contributed to it. [Razz] 5 is about average, i'd say.
