I got accepted to the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown! You don't understand how relieved I feel. Well, maybe you do, but man... It's great- I'm set, all I have to do is maintain my grades. What's better, is I also got a full Navy ROTC scholarship. So I'm going to Georgetown almost for free! Yes!

Wow. Now that is an achievement, dude, congratulations. What the hell kind of grades and test scores did you need to get into Georgetown?
(This is on the par of a Harvard acceptance, right? If it isn't, consider my congratulations revoked.)

My SAT's are 770 verbal and 660 math, for a combined 1430.
My grades are pretty good. I've gotten mostly A's, some B+'s, and some B's, but nothing lower that I can remember in high school.
I think my activies also helped. I'm on the swim team, the band for the musical play, and a member of the Civil Air Patrol, the auxillary of the Air Force.
I think the fact that I rarely get more than 7 hours of sleep also contributed to it. 5 is about average, i'd say.
