Step one: Go to MMORPG.com where you will find an option to get a 14 day free trial to the game EVE
step two: Call your office and tell them you have a two week version of the flu *cough cough* and *sniff* you can't come in *hack wheeze* but if they *sneeze* really insist * horrible hacking noise* then you will be raring and willing to go! *cough hack wheeze sniff cough*
step three: they will tell you it's perfectly OK to play EVE online for two weeks.
step four: create a character. Your initial character should be well balanced in attribute points. You can distribute 5 points how you like, after that, depending on which bloodline + race you chose you will have three possible backgrounds to enhance your attributes in a particular way - don't underestimate this!
step five: Try to go for either an mechanic/energy systems education or a military education. The corporate/researcher is a bit more boring for now at least.
step six: before you finish creating your character make sure you have all necessary food groups nearby for eating and drinking, keep a comfy pillow ("If you do not tell us the truth, we will torture with - THE COMFY PILLOW MUHAHAHAHHA!") nearby for supporting your head up when you get too tired to move your neck

I already pimped Eve, you are a day late and a dollar short bud. I see the Shiva patch still isn't out.

I didn't like Eve. I'm on City of Heros right now.
I'm really kind of jonesing for EQ2. I'm sure after that comes out I'll never see any of my friends again. (that's what happened with the first one). (un)Fortuantely they keep putting off the release date.
