I don’t know if this place talks about movies much, but I just re-watched Billy Elliot and realized that it is my favorite movie of all time.
I was wondering if anyone else enjoyed it?
I love some of the images that the movie used to express emotions. The one that sticks out the most is when Billy and his dad are hugging at the bus station. Such an awkward position, but it says so much about their love.

It's such a great movie. Billy was such a sweet kid. I liked how he took care of his grandmother and how he cared about his gay friend and stuck by him Now I want to see that movie again. It had such cool music.

I'd like to have a double feature of Billy Eliot and The Commitments. I think those two would be really good together, but will have to try it one night just to see.

I really liked this movie. I thought it was excellent. But I love a lot of movies, so I dunno if "favorite" applies for me... but I DO really like it!

I actually have this movie linked to the Full Monty, in my mind. I guess because both show middle class drugery and dispair as well as joy. Maybe some of the actors overlap too?
