Today I woke up sick. My throat burned with the fires of a thousand evils. My head ached. My nose ran, my stomach rolled, my mouth sneezed, my face dried out, my skin broke out in hives.
I burned myself three times before eight AM. I spilled hot raspberry tea on my new whtie sweater. When I picked up my backpack, the strap broke.
I failed a test and then a quiz. My friend spilled nacho cheese on my new book. I missed the mandatory meeting for Dracula and now I can't audition.
The list goes on and on and on. There's no great horrors, but it all just adds up to this mundane awfulness that combined with the terrible weather made me want to just crawl in a corner and die.
Ah yes. Let the pity party begin. *dons party hat*
If it makes it any better, In high school I got ill and missed auditions for "Whose Line is it Anyway", which I was really looking forward to being in.

Oh man, I love my friends. I just got IMed by my friend Maggie. She found out I was really sick today, so when I wasn't at the Dracula meeting she got me the forms and talked to the director. I am thanking her on bended knee right now.

Sounds like a rotten day, but with the Dracula auditions, I'm sure you'll soon forget everything else. Hopefully?

Yikes, hope things are looking a lot better today. Many more auditions should come in the future as well as more opportunities to show of your reflexes and pull your books away during an unsuspecting food spill.

I auditioned today for Dracula. I performed a scene as Renfield, the madman. Before I got home, there was a message on our answering machine saying I got the part of Seward, Renfield's doctor. I don't even have to come to callbacks: I made cast, just like that.
