I'm a teenager. You may actually enjoy it better on the Hatrack Young Writers forum. It's mostly teenagers, and the Essays section is more open discussion than essays. But you will be burned alive with bad grammar and spelling there.
A note: we try to preserve spelling and grammar on Hatrack largely because it's considerate to readers. Net lingo is hardly universal and Hatrack is an international online community, so it's just simpler. Consider it Hatrack ettiquette. And it doesn't take much longer to write sucks rather than sux.

You could search for topics you are interested in, like the 'touching is good' topic is about the Nintendo DS. Then again, you haven't given me many ideas about what you like except maybe comics?

I think I'm going to take tomorrow off and rebuild the carburetor for the boat. It's too cold outside. Consequently, I'm thinking about doing the rebuild in the kitchen. My wife says the fumes from the carburetor cleaner stink up the house.

I only have a carport...open to the elements. Stan, aren't you tired of working on boats?
My wife just nixed the whole carburetor thing. Now I get to go Christmas shopping. Too bad Harbor Freight isn't on her list of places to go. Maybe I can persuade her to spend the day at Sears.
Let's see what Bob Villa's got on sale this week...

What's with the welcomes? This troll has accused us of being boring, stated that he will not have the common courtesy to spell correctly, and demanded replies. What do we need him for? I hope he goes off into the outer wilderness and meets a 1337-eating ogre.
Comrade comic-whatnot : I am this board's official Grammar Communist. I sense that you have much to learn.
Yes, 75% of people online use 1337 speak. The uninteresting ones who have nothing to say. 50% of the American population voted Bush (Kerry), does that make it a good idea?

It is hard to communicate what you want in Net Lingo...
And more importantly, the only thing worse than a grammar nazi is someone intentionally making errors to be more net-cool.

Dude, check this out. Sears has got a special on Optima batteries. I thought they only carried DieHard. DieHard batteries suck. At least they did when Johnson Controls made them. Stinkin' plates warped...stranded me on the lake.

Hey, my 1ntarwebnet penis is as big as anyone's. I suspect I am considerably more t3h 1337 haxx0r than this gh4y n00b. But I don't go flashing it about in other people's faces. It isn't polite.

ComicDeath, that was just too perfect of a "haughty young cybersavage" type introduction for me to take you seriously. Are you a new persona for an existing member by any chance?

And we would love you anyway Teshi. However, Comic Death hasn't written in to defend themselves yet. It's almost boring. So about Sears....I'm restricted to small handtools now. I can't buy the power tools I used too. They take up too much space in the truck and I don't have a garage to put them in.

Noemon I did consider that, as it was very perfect. Covering many areas of possible stereotypical complaint; language, 'serious' issues and the teen statement of boredom.
Also the capitalisation of the title but not the word "I" is highly suspicious.

Great news! My wife says I can change the oil on her car tomorrow too. It's supposed to snow. Maybe I'll just go in to work.

For awhile there I was buying a new DieHard every boating season. My wife would get mad because I was always getting acid holes in my new jeans. Those Optimas are great. No leaks. No warped plates.
Have you ever worn a pair of jeans to work that was about to have an acid hole? I mean, they look fine coming out of the dryer, and they look fine driving to work. But the minute you sit down at your desk, the area affected by acid crumbles into dust. Makes you wish you had your lucky boxers on.

I still own a pair of jeans that are half eaten away from battery acid. I keep them for the summer time. Excellent ventillation.

My Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban DVD arrived a day early. Too bad my wife had to go to her niece's indoor soccer game, or we'd be watching it right now. I won't watch it alone. That werewolf is too scary!

I'd spend Friday at Radio Shack, but that place gives me the willies. I think I'm afraid that if I spend too much time there, I'll end up behind the counter, trying to sell cell phones.

Stan, those are so hot! If I had a bigger garage, I'd ask for those too. My car could use a new paint job. I tried the spray can technique, which didn't quite have the same effect, haha.

Never, ever use spray paint. one: you have less control of paint flow. two: spray paint likes to "run" and looks like the poor job that it was. (this is nothing against you. Every paint job like that that I have seen looks awful.)
