I went down to Staunton, VA, last week to meet my brother who was driving up from NC to hand off my Aunt who is coming to live with my mother who recently moved into the rental property I recently purchased with the proceeds from the sale of my property in Baltimore. (Got that?)

Anyway, we decided to have lunch in Staunton together before splitting up to go our separate ways. We stopped at this roadside restaurant and had a good lunch. Near the end of lunch I sat back and looked around the restaurant. EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN THE ROOM looked extremely familiar to me. It was the weirdest feeling of deja vu I've ever had. I could stop looking around and after a few minutes I came to the conclusion that most of the faces looked very like other people I know, though a few I couldn't place at all yet they still looked familiar.

I think I may have run through all the major facial variations in the species. [Eek!]

From now on will all the people I meet only be variations on a theme?? [Angst]

Trinity: A deja vu is usually a glitch in the Matrix. It happens when they change something.

Its because your in a coma and were all fragments of your imagination. Everyone of our faces have to be based of the faces of those you knew before your comma so in fact yes you have seen us all.

Farmgirl beat me to it. [Big Grin]

Of course, I've had similar experiences in more rural areas myself... [Taunt]

Orange Penguin picked an annoying way to say it, but he's right.

In small towns, people (who are staying) tend to marry their high school sweethearts. The gene pool is small, so over the years things get a little tangled even without any really close relations marrying.
