Okay, I need to use GarageBand for piano practice with my new midi controller until I figure out how to use my software synths, but after I re-installed it due to past issues with my MacBook it just wasn't restored. I checked the .com and it doesn't seem like I can just download it, as far as I investigated. Does anyone know if there's some simple way to acquire it without having to buy the new iLife?

It should be on your software restore disc that came with your MacBook - not sure, since I'm not entirely certain where my discs are atm, but it's certainly on my MacBook, and I didn't put it there.
How did you attempt to reinstall? When you say it wasn't restored, do you mean the app isn't there or it's not working?

Software restore disc? There's such an object? The hunt is on! Thanks
GarageBand just isn't there, and neither is Photo Booth, or whatever it is that let me took pictures of myslef using the iSight. That's all I've noticed "missing".
Edit: Duh! Of course! The bundled software didn't come from a noplace.
You've done it! You've solved my thing! Stuff can happen NOW. Hugs!
