If you like graphic novels, or even if you don't like graphic novels, or even if you've never read one in your life, Amulet by Kazu Kibuishi is a incredible read: the art , particularly the facial expressions and wild action sequences, is unbelievable, and the story is dripping with imagination (the downside: book one ends on a cliffhanger ).
But still, I'd highly recommend it.

Considering your long history of involvement here and proven track record of directing people to quality reading, I will certainly take that under advisement.
Ah Jake, what times we have had. What wonderful times. Has it really only been 3 posts? It seems more like 4.

Way to welcome the lurker, Squick. Pay no attention to the man behind the sarcastic facade, Jake.

Jake, if you are going to shill for a book, I think you may find that you'll get a better reception if you participate in the community for some time before doing so, or, alternatively, start a discussion of said book and your impressions of it in some detail instead of one that just extolls its no doubt many virtues.
