No, in fact this is point. Given the the full slate of evidence that we now know our leaders had prior to 9/11 including reports from 11 countries that Al Qaida was planning a major attack, specific reports that they were planning to hijack airplanes and crash them into buildings, warnings that Sept 11 was a likely date and list of names of Al Qaida operatives (at least four of whom were actually on the air planes), why was this attack able to surprise our defenses? At the very minimum, this is gross incompetence at the highest levels of government.
