One consideration you need to look into is search engine optimization (yes, I'm totally serious). As a new band, you will need a good web campaign to help build your fan base. Can people google your band's name and find it within the first two pages?

My vote: Pickpokcet oranges There is no search results on google for the search term "pickpocket oranges" band.

Entropia - Great name, but there is already an album called Entropia. If someone googled "entropia" "band", they will get that other group instead of you.

Profound Meaning - Your fans will wade through pages of Grateful Dead and Dylan sites before they find you.

Bad Marketing - The name says it all.

I like Bad Marketing.

However, I like "Monkey's Grandma Moses" better.
