Another thing you can do if you're working on something on several computers is to email it to yourself each time you make changes or additions. That's what I did in high school when we were given class time to work on essays in the computer lab. It was much easier than remembering to bring a floppy disk, which would invariably get broken in my bookbag, or printing it out and retyping what I'd already done when I got home.
