No, not OUR Icarus. It's a poem I wrote for an assignment for school. Here goes...
Daedalus had made the king mad Because Daedalus had been very bad He had helped Perseus out So the king gave a shout “You’ll be locked in the tower, so sad!”
So Daedalus was locked in a tower “I’ll get out,” he said ever so sour His son was there, too “Icarus, it is true” “We’ll get out,” he said with such power
So they made wings and shouted, “We’re free!” And Icarus jumped out the window with glee And higher he flew But his wings melted to goo And he plummeted into the sea
So please, please, stop right in your tracks Before strapping wings to your backs I would like to point out That beyond a doubt When making some wings don’t use wax!

What about play-do? I've got my cat all prepared...I figured it was a win-win situation, since they'll land on their feet even if they don't fly. They may crush their legs and die, but at least they'll die with pride, right-side up. I salute Mr. Fluffy.

Yeah, that's where I got my idea from. I wasn't sure if it would work on humans (or cats), though, since we aren't all that aerodynamic.
