So, yesterday Paul asks me to make sure someone will be at the house all day. Not a big deal since my parents are working on/around the house at the moment. At this point I pretty much figure he's sending something but I have no idea what. I'm curious.

Then he asks me what time I'm getting home tomorrow (now today). I am now getting very curious.

School comes and goes and I'm getting all excited to come home and figure out what Paul's up to. Then I realize that I have to stay an extra hour and a half after school for an IB Anthropology Exam review. I am now very anxious to get home.

Mom picks me up at school since my car's being tempermental (my own fault [Embarrassed] ). She then proceeds to tease me about how she thinks she knows what I got but how she won't even tell me where she put it until we're home.

Paul calls and asks where I am. I am 20 minutes away from home.

I get home and run upstairs to my room to ditch my bags. Paul calls again. It turns out what he sent got hidden in the kitchen pantry. I open the pantry and start to giggle because right there before me...

Are two boxes from a florist's!!!

Package one contains 18 red roses (my first roses ever! [Big Grin] ), a note, some chocolates, and one of those funny little balloons that I always giggle at when they're someone else's but, it so turns out, I happen to rather like recieving myself. [Smile]

Package two contains white lilies (lilies are my favorite flower ) and another note. [Smile]

So...

I'm very happy and feeling incredibly spoiled and loved. The notes made me smile, the chocolates taste great, and, finally, my room smells great and looks so much brighter!

So, yes - I'm bragging at the moment. [Smile]

'Love you, Paul. [Kiss] [Smile]

Didn't you see the note? They're for his other girlfriend.

I stayed home sick from school today for the first time all year.

Highlight of the day: A quick call from Paul and a third set of flowers (irises this time). I spent over half an hour trimming the stems and arranging them lol. Then I had to grab a small chair to rest the vase on because I ran out of space in my room. Paul's response? That that's the way it should always be. [Smile]
