Do you have a favorite Thanksgiving that stands out in your memory? A hilarious story? A fiasco worth telling? Favorite traditions, or scenarios you dread? Here's the place to share.
When I was living in Virginia, for several years in a row my friends and I rented a big house on the Outer Banks--the big, new, luxurious kind we could never afford in the summertime. It was wonderful--we would get the house for a week and people would come and go as they were able, and everyone contributed to Thanksgiving dinner. Winter walks on the beach, hot tub soaks, and no traffic.
The group dispersed and I'm living closer to family now so my Thanksgivings are once again more traditional--and also a little more boring ;-).
