I though about posting this on the space thread but I think it should have it's own thread.
The Science Channel has a new series of shows about what it is going to take to get to Mars. As many of you know, NASA is developing new space vehicles to take humans back to the Moon and onto Mars. This show details the plans and the obstacles.
Yesterday was the first show, but if you missed it, don't fret. They replaying it a lot.
BTW, the part I am working on is Orion. That is the crew module/service module part of Ares I. They didn't get into it much on this episode, but I bet they will in the future. They do show a nice little bit of Robonaut, I supported those folks while I worked at JSC.

I am the Computer Aided Design (CAD) manager for Orion. I am responsible for the CAD standards that Orion will be designed to. That's about as close as "on" Orion I will get.

One more bump. This weeks episode shows Robonaut. This is one of the coolest things I have seen in Engineering.
