Leave out the part about Bean being transported back in time to meet Alvin, though. It won't be believable.

This is actually how I've been feeling about Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell. I didn't feel that way until about 500 pages into the book, but now it bugs me when I can't read it. Like right now.
(Just for the record, I've already read Shadow of the Giant and Bean's decapitation is quite alarming!!)

Ooh, I especially liked the part where Petra and Virlomi have a face off over who is the better mother.

And I can't believe that Alai killed himself. Its terrible. I guess he was unhappy. He'd been having some problems being Caliph and some problems with his fiance, Petra (Who divorced Bean).

I was going to add my own little spoiled spoiler but it probably wouldnt be as funny. Threads like this decrease in humor REALLY fast.
Suffice to say When they finally turn off Antons key and save Beans life, I was sad to see him turn into a vegetable and slowely wither away until he died. But hey it will still be interesting to see where the novel tying to two stories together will go.

Isn't it obvious? They plant the remains of the dead veggie-Bean, and he enters his third life secretly among the fathertrees of Lusitania.
