I CANNOT BELIEVE I DIDN'T NOTICE IT! After all of my grumbling, I missed the memo on the website calender saying Mr. Card was coming to Missouri. I would have been in school and unable to go, but I still can't belive I missed it.

I just knew about it because I live in one of the towns where the library is part of the Daniel Boone Regional Library system, and OSC came because of the One Read program here.
Sorry you missed it...it was quite fun, but there certainly was a long line at the signing!
And I was in school too. As a matter of fact, I missed World History and Yearbook to come see OSC. I'm a dedicated Hatracker.

I doubt my parents would let me skip any of my high school classes, since both of them are teachers.

schoolteachers are some of the first to judge that a student has an opportunity better than class. However, I'm not sure that getting a book signed qualified. A tour of Italy, now - THAT would qualify as worth missing class for.

My point exactly. I'm still disappointed that I missed my oppurtunity. Are you coming to Missouri again anytime soon?
