Do what OSC does? (post alot and answer reader questions daily on his website) i mean he was my favorite author before i found this place, now i see him as not only my fav. author, but one who cares about his readers. Something not many authors show...
how many others do this?

Eric Flint is supposed to be pretty active on his publisher's website (Baen I think). He actually took some fan fiction based on his series for use in his anthology. That is generally a huge no-no. Understandably so to.
