Doubt it. It's a EU issue, and the EU has nothing to do with American "Civilisation" or, in France's case, this "war that's being watched".

I don't see how you can say it is peripheral to the war on terror. I suspect the column will be along the lines of "Europe is finally realising that there is a subset of Moslems who are at war with our civilisation, and will take any excuse to attack us."

The mohammed cartoon seems a little too hot of a topic for someone like OSC to write their opinions about, as his opinion will be regarded highly. However you guys know his style more than me so it you could easily right KoM
