Myst 4?! I'm so behind. I never got very far in Riven, I just couldn't figure out how to do anything.

oooh, i cant WAIT to get home and start downloading it. Riven was great, but I was not able to get very far at all (not even past the first real puzzle) in Exile. It had a lot to do with the free 360 degree movement, it irked me. Hopefully this one will be better.
shameless bragging: I was a beta tester for myst:uru, but I suck at beta testing because im too lazy and only really wanted to see what it was like, so I doubt ill ever be a beta tester again

Ok, I finished downloading it and playing it for a little bit. And I am completely impressed. Exile was a joke compared to this one. Its got the original myst feeling but with awesome smooth graphics. It does need a very high end computer to run it though. Its a shame I'm stuck on the first puzzle and i havent found any walkthroughs for the demo yet

I was kind of disappointed with the demo. It's short. It's very pretty, but it's the old 'slide' style, except that they're 360 degree slides, so it's easier. Why couldn't they do a 3D walkthrough-style like everyone else these days? And while the mousing is better than Uru's, it's still kinda bizarre. Also the hand is creepy.
However, I'll buy it and love it 'cause I'm a sucker for Myst and Uru didn't have enough content. Hopefully this one will be better!

spoiler alert . . . . Switch on both the lamps and go back into the fireplace. You'll be able to see what to do.
