Today, it is snowing in Paris (France). It's a Beautiful day and i am beginning to work with a look at the window the white poder get slowly down. It's a weather during you must take your time. In French it sound like : "C'est un temps où il faut prendre son temps."

Weather and time are the same word in French. I don't know why.

Have a good day. [Wave]

"Weather and time are the same word in French."

It is raining here in Los Angeles, and the entire city has shut down. So yeah, I think using the same word for weather and time is a good idea. [Smile]

'Snot raining here. It's supposed to be sunny from here on out.

Re: weather and time. I think the season is the connection. Seasons are a measure of time, but also indicate weather easily. if that makes any sense. I wouldn't be surprised if I'm not coherent in my up-late-procrastinating state.

Season is the link between wether and time. Good answer for why i use the same word : "temps". Now the wheather is sunny and the white ground is flashy. But it already become water and flow on roof. So we can see small Rainbows (i prefer our word : Arc-en-ciel, literally "Skybow")

It's supposed to snow tonight in Minnesota.

But I suppose that's not really a surprise...

It snowed in Dallas Valentine's Day of last year. And it snowed right after we left for our Christmas trip. It snows in Texas. Just not often.

And we did have thunderstorms last night. They're kind of cool-looking.

I don't know, Katie. I know it snowed on Valentine's Day last year because I was 7 1/2 months pregnant, nothing warm fit me, and we went out for dinner. I ended up in my burgandy, stretchy dress with two pairs of tights underneath, boots, and wearing Jeff's coat. I had fun that morning watching the kids in my apartment complex have a snowball fight; I considered going down and paying one of them to make snowballs for me, since I couldn't bend over, but decided to make hot chocolate and watch instead. By the time we went out for dinner (we went downtown), there was just a little left most places; it had been trodden, melted, and was fairly icky where there was any left. But as we came back home, we saw a few fields still magically covered with white, the bare trees standing stark against it, reminding me why people would want to live somewhere where it snows (although if they're like me, not somewhere where it snows often). As for our Christmas trip, I just heard about it from my in-laws; we were safely out of town by then. [Smile]

We are right on our average snowfall for the year, thankfully without any huge snows, just slow and steady.

No snow. I even took Nathan looking for snow for sledding to the nearby mountains - mudslush and ice is all they had to offer. (sobs)

And California is getting all the PacNW's rain - how are you folks doing down there? The pictures I see look rather frightening -

You better believe it.
[Cry]

I fear no evil, for I have driven my car past the 405-101 interchange during a light drizzle and lived to tell about it. [Evil]

Yea, though I wade through the Valley in a record rainfall, I will fear no drowning, 'cause, hey, like, that's what the fire rescue squad is for. Totally. [Razz]

I've never seen a city shut down entirely for anything less than three feet of snow. And they have to fall early in the morning, but not too early, because otherwise they have it all cleared away in time for everyone to get to work/school.
