Not much of a stretch, is it?

When I saw the thread title I thought "Doesn't he always?" And with that flippant impulse I realized that almost all of his movies make more sense if you assume the character he's playing is actually an alien pretending to be human, but not really understanding the depth or range of human emotions.

(and though i thought that was funny, pooka has me beat by miles.)

And please, Hollywood Gods, don't make this movie suck. [Hail]

Ouch. Of all the people to remake a classic!

Can anyone explain Keanu Reeves to me? I mean, plenty of Hollywood actors/actresses can't act...they sell their bodies...but Kean Reeves? Who would want to see that?

I really like Keanu Reeves. But I freely admit that I am weird.

He's always been too good looking to be really a real guy. [Wink]

See, I actually think this is brilliant casting. Keanu always seems a bit odd and separate from the rest of humanity, no matter what character he's playing.

For portraying Klaatu, an alien who only looks human, that's a plus! [Wink]
