A preliminary soundtrack has been released and youtube has a few clips which I'm going to link below. I've become obsessed with the soundtrack and can't stop listening. You might have a hard time finding it in stores but you can also purchase it at Amazon or iTunes.
Go to www.repo-opera.com to find out if its playing in your area. They're doing a college tour right now and are adding some more cities on November 7th. Nothing close to me so I'll have to wait until either they can expand again, or the dvd comes out in January.
Summary: In the not so distant future, organ failure is the latest epidemic. But GeneCo is there to provide relief...for a price. And if a person doesn't make their payments, a Repo Man is sent out by GeneCo to collect the financed organs. The film's Repo Man, whose real named is Nick Wallace, is played by Anthony Stewart Head ("Giles" from Buffy) who hides his secret profession from his daughter Shiloh (Alex Vega of "Spy Kids") who has inherited a blood disease from her dead mother. One day Shiloh leaves her prison-home where she meets a Grave-Robber and Blind Mag (Sarah Brightman), an old friend of Shiloh's mother, who promotes GeneCo in exchange for her remarkable eyes. The President of GeneCo, Rotti Largo (Paul Sorvino), is dying of a disease even he can't cure and his children fight for control of his company (Paris Hilton as "Amber Sweet," Bill Moseley as "Luigi Largo" and Nivek Ogre of Skinny Puppy as "Parvi Large").
Zydrate Anatomy - Zydrate is a drug harvested from corpses so the dealers are known as "Grave-robbers." This particular Grave-robber acts as the film's narrator is is played by one of the writers of the screenplay. Its also an interesting clip of Paris Hilton's character, Amber Sweet. Not too much of a stretch for her: a rich, spoiled girl addicted to drugs, who uses her genetically-perfect body to get what she wants.
Seventeen - Alex Vega sings. Weird clip to watch stand-alone but its funny how they edit the last line for language.
Mark It Up - LANGUAGE. Rotti's sons Luigi and Parvi. One's a rapist, the other is a murderer. Parvi like to wear women's faces. Literally. They're supposed to be the film's comic relief.
I really recommend listening to some clips on iTunes. Very diverse collection of sounds. Metal, punk, opera, screamo, traditional Broadway, etc. Lots of dueling electric guitars and cellos. Operatic voices backing up rock stars, and so forth.

Huh, Anthony Head of Buffy and Sarah Brightman. My brain cannot process this rationally, I must see this for the sheer spectacle of it.

I actually went and watched the trailer. Huh. I DO like Anthony Head's voice, and I can see this working for him. I couldn't immediately pick out Paris Hilton's vacant smirk, so maybe she'll be forgettable in the movie. Nonetheless, I tend to find this sort of gory film too intense for the theatre, so I'll probably catch it when it comes to DVD.
