Okay, me and some friends will be watching the entirity of Bab5 this or next weekend and will be doing a drinking game, now, what should the criteria be that doesnt get us so drunk we cant watch it all but makes it a good chance well be dead by liver failure once we're 90% through?

Anytime you notice Kosh move from room to room, without actually seeing him pass through doorways. The costume was too big for the doors, so they just used cut scenes.
Or anytime Londo drinks himself, although that may cause liver damage.
Or anytime G'kar refers to the book of G'Quan.
Or anytime Xathras refers to himself in the third person.
Or every time Kosh delivers a Koshism (e.g. "Understanding is a three-edged sword")

Every time something is said or done that you didn't understand the significance of the first time you saw it, until later in the series.
Or, alternately, if someone is watching for the first time, every time they have an "Aha!" moment for something that happened earlier in the series.

I seriously doubt it. Even if you ignore all of the movies and spin-offs, watching all five seasons would take more than three days straight.

Blayne: to pursue her movie career. Did you see the movie she was in lately? (neither did anyone else.)

It seems to me that this would happen with decreasing frequency over time as one's brain becomes increasingly muddled by the alcohol in the bloodstream.

That's exactly what I thought. It's a bit of protection for your liver.

My husband and I watched the entirety of Babylon 5 over 3 weekends once (before kids...not counting movies). Each season is 22 episodes and without commercials, that is about 16.5 hours of show. Those were the days....

My roommate and I watched it over the course of a semester. That seemed (and seems) to be a reasonable pace.
