Can't tell if HF is just not in the mood or if it's just the really stupid questions by GQ.

Either way, sounds like he's glad to be past Ender's Game.

He may or may not be in the mood, but those are demonstrably stupid questions.

lol. Yeah, those were some pretty silly questions, but he also really didn't seem to be in the mood. Other actors would handle it with a little more grace and sort of "handle" the interviewer, he didn't seem to be in the mood for that.

Honestly, I would probably respond in a similar manner. Those are some pretty idiotic questions. And he answered them perfectly adequetly. I don't really think it's his job to elaborate beyond that - especially considering how the interviewer didn't even take the time to do some basic fact checking. He's a highly accomplished actor and his time is valuable to him - if they're going to ask him insultingly stupid questions, they deserve the answers they get.

I was prepared to think Ford was being too grumpy, but if anything, he showed tremendous restraint with those questions...

Just seems like Harrison Ford to me. It's his personality, IMO. Seen other interviews where he seemed a little grouchy.

He's an older guy and probably doesn't have patience for stupid questions, which is what those are. The interviewer bringing up the OSC gay stuff is probably tiring to him by now too.

It's actually pretty, um, bold to headline that interview by pretending that HF was the one who handled it poorly. False premises in multiple questions, trolling for a reaction to OSC's views...that was a terrible interview. I like that HF didn't bend over backwards. I suppose he's under contract to do some promo interviews, doesn't mean he has to cheerfully suffer fools.

I have to agree... those were incredibly insufferable questions. And the interviewer came off as unprepared and misinformed.

I did find it to be an incredibly entertaining read...

Given his GQ responses, I wasn't all that surprised. I had to scroll up to make sure.

Well, he may have been short, but those were some pretty dumb questions.

Man that is kind of messed up. He's a human being. I'm sure he doesn't appreciate people talking about how old he is and how he'll be dead soon. Sometimes the Onion takes stuff too far.

I agree Harrison Ford's reactions to the poor interview were appropriate. While he often comes across (to me) as a little grouchy, "grouchy" is understandable in that situation.
