Does anyone know about The Marshall Plan Workbook? Is it a worthwhile book to have? I have been looking at it online at Amazon, but it seems to me that the Snowflake method cited in a post a short while back (http://www.hatrack.com/forums/writers/forum/Forum1/HTML/002330.html) might be superior.

Any opinions one way or the other?

I read the Marshall Plan a while ago and was not very impressed. It seemed very formulaic and by-the-numbers. You have to have X number of subplots for very specific purposes and each of those has to have X number of scenes and they have to be in this exact order and so on. I'm kind of a structure and planning kind of person and I like things to be orderly and tidy - but this was way too much, even for me.

Your library probably has a copy if you want to check it out without risk.
