Well, it seems as if I'm in this alone, but as for me:

Last Week's Goals:

FIRE AND EARTH (formerly known as SEVEN STARS): For this week and the near future, wait to hear back on the request coming off of Pitch Wars.
Waiting. [Smile]

BLOOD WILL TELL: IndieReCon is coming up. Hopefully I'll learn something useful.
Yes. Now I have to digest it and decide how to proceed. [Smile]

BLOOD IS THICKER: Let it cool before going back for the next round.
Still cooling. [Smile]

THE BARD'S GIFT: Start next, and (hopefully) final, revision pass. I also need to try to figure out if I can somehow come up with a map.
The revisions are going well. I'm happy with the changes. [Smile]
No progress on figuring out how to do a map. [Frown]

MAGE STORM: Wait for feedback.
Ongoing.

MAGIC'S FOOL: On hold.
Yep, still holding. [Smile]

OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.
Yes. [Smile]

Next Week's Goals:

FIRE AND EARTH (formerly known as SEVEN STARS):
Wait to hear back on the request coming off of Pitch Wars. Consider what to do next if (as expected) the answer is no.

BLOOD WILL TELL:
Figure out how I want to proceed on a couple of ideas coming out of IndieReCon.

BLOOD IS THICKER:
Let it cool before going back for the next round.

THE BARD'S GIFT:
Finish the final revision pass. Start polishing edit. Try to come up with a map. The goal is to have it ready to start querying early next month.

MAGE STORM:
Wait for feedback.

MAGIC'S FOOL:
On hold.

OTHER:
Update my blog twice a week.

You're not alone, I'm just so deep I have no time for anything but writing. First book in final editing stage now. My cover artist is well behind schedule. But she's working free, and she has to chase a three year old, so I have no room to complain. Second book being revised to reflect some complications that the characters decided to throw into the main plot line. Devious SOBs.

I feel that I've shunted the Brull novel aside, but it's currently being looked at chapter-by-chapter on another site.

I wrote about 20,000 words last week on Moonstone and I'm currently at 55,000 words.

I hope to get closer to the ending by the end of next week. Ideally, I'll have the main story completed by the end of the month. Then I'll work on the antagonist's story, which I intend to weave throughout the books. If that doesn't work, then my quartet becomes a quintet.

The first draft is my favorite part of writing, seeing the story take shape as you write. So I've got plenty of fun in store for next week.

I'm also going to have to redo the cover on one of my published works. I did a search and saw it after a while and the artwork doesn't measure up. I decided I'll have to photograph my daughter-in-law in a similar position and photoshop her face in the illustration. Update: which I did, but I ended up using the photo as a model and made my own corrections to the artwork.

Nothing on novels, I'm sorry to say.

Too many short stories demand attention at the moment.

My goal is to finish the two stories I am working on and to write one more. And then I can get make to my novels...or else.
