I am listening my way through OSC audiobooks from the local library. The pacing and characters keep me reading, though I sometimes have to dodge the flack of "curse words" that can seem gratuitous. The parallel plot of Ender's Shadow is compelling, so now I have to see the movie again. What I like the most is the way that truth, knowledge, and wisdom are woven in so skillfully that readers may not even guess that they have been transported to holy places, not just outer spaces. My mentor, Arthur H. King, said that the greatest literary works are those which most closely approximate standard works of scripture. Praise to the man behind "Gert Fram." Thanks y'all.
