Hi. My name is Chris. I want to be a writer. I feel like there are stories inside me just waiting to be freed. I've started a couple and will be posting pieces of them soon. In a former life I taught math and science to jr and sr high schoolers and worked as a jr high principal for almost two years. My skill set is large and varied from driving trucks, operating farm machinery, welding, framing houses, landscaping. I love going to school. Especially college. There is something about a college campus that makes my heart leap for joy. I love the atmosphere. At one time I wanted to teach at a college or work there in some capacity, but that may not be a possibility now.
I am also a huge OSC fan. Ender's Game is probably the reason I wanted to tell my story. I cry every time I read that book. So I'm here.

This is a good place to learn how to free up those stories. Some of us know a thing or three about writing and don't mind sharing.
And I add that your life experiences will be good fodder for your muse to use. It's usually good to write what you know about.
But as you hunt around the treehouse which out, some unusual creatures there be here. A unicorn some like but she can be prickly at times or even mean. The white wicked eyed dragon can make a big mess, I mean by wrecking rooms and furniture.
