I have been writing since I was 16 years old. I’m 62 now. I don't know how good a writer I am, but I enjoy it immensely and hope to improve with your kind assistance.
I'm a retired instrument technician and computer systems analyst. I enjoy writing, photography, the sciences, and a bit of philosophy. I spend a lot of time studying the Bible and ancient history.
I look forward to being a part of your community. I'll do my best to be helpful and supportive. I'll also do my utmost not to be a pest.
You've come to the right place to learn the craft of writing. The vast majority of people here are improving and going forward so it's a goo place to learn...friendly people too.
You will find people very close to your age, along with a bunch of younger ones. And with similar interests.
However as you explore the treehouse do be careful especially if you see a unicorn she is not friendly.

We actually have a lot of the same interests outside of writing fiction -- (I began my writing life by writing about religion, history, etc).
My dream is to be able to write fiction that people life and want to read, and the short time I've been here I've learned a lot. And have also been frustrated by me ineptitude. But I "think" I'm learning. I'm sure you will too.
